Javier lives and works in Seville, Spain. He studied at the School of Arts of Seville, has a degree in Fine Arts by the University of Seville and has a postgraduate degree in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid in Art Creation and Research. Obtained the highest score with your research “Return to Silence”, centered on the repetition of elements in the painting as an analogy to the rituals, meditative. He has received numerous awards in Spain and his work on japanese paper, was recognized in the Biennale of Contemporary Art of Paper at the Museum Rijswijk in the Netherlands, and at the Biennial of Contemporary Art of Lalin, Spain.
Javier has done multiple exhibitions throughout Europe, with his first individual exhibition in Hong Kong in 2015. He has participated in art fairs in Spain, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Korea, Indonesia, Istanbul, Taiwan, and Miami, as well as numerous exhibitions in cities such as New York, Houston, New Orleans or Brussels. His works have been acquired by major collections of spain, such as the Foundation ABANCA, Valentín de Madariaga (Seville), and Collection DEARTE, Foundation Galila (Brussels), Fondation Boghossian (Brussels), and by leading collectors of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Korea.
