THE ORIGIN OF CONSCIOUSNES

This new edition belongs to the last series of oil paintings that I made for my last solo exhibition in the city of Hong Kong in March 2024 entitled STILL LIGHT. It means a reunion with painting. It represents the culmination of its various artistic expressions through the play of spaces, light and shadows. The creative process begins with the reference of paper models, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional pictorial genre of "still life", capturing real models made of paper that provoke a philosophical and aesthetic contemplation through their forms. It is a way of structuring and the colors in painting that in turn refer to an inherent order of the universe.
